- Volkswagen

All of these companies have focused on hybrid and other fuel efficiency technologies, reducing their impact on the environment while still increasing sales. In the future, automakers will compete in every vehicle class for environmental performance. Both Honda and Toyota competed this year in 7 of 8 vehicle classes.
The best automakers are consistent. They earn their spot in the top 5 by consistently producing safe, high quality and low emission vehicles.
Moving forward, all fleet automakers will have to be able to convert emerging environmentally safe technologies into a complete product. The company that does it best has the capability to lead the fleet world into greener pastures.
